TCU Black Alumni Alliance
Members, friends, and family of the Black Alumni Alliance (BAA) established the BAA Scholarship in 2002, with the purpose of supporting the academic journey of a TCU student of Black heritage. The BAA accepts applications and awards TCU undergraduate students who are rising juniors or seniors (53 hours successfully completed by end of term) with financial need, are low-income, first-generation, or who come from communities underrepresented in higher education who have a 2.0 or higher GPA. Students of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Completion of the 2026-2027 FAFSA (https://studentaid.gov) or TASFA is required in order to determine eligibility.

- Upload an original essay of at least 500 words in PDF or Word format (single or double spaced, 12 point font) based on the following prompt: What is your vision of the impact you will have on the greater community; and how will you use your TCU education to fulfill that legacy?
