All Opportunities

Welcome to TCU’s Horned Frog Scholar Search homepage!

TCU awards numerous merit-based and need-based scholarships each academic year through the generosity of alumni and private donors. Scholarship award amounts vary and are often awarded based on several factors including, but not limited to, demonstrated academic success, donor-stipulated criteria and financial need. These scholarships are awarded toward tuition and when combined with federal and state aid, may not exceed the value of a full-tuition award.

Scholarship Opportunities
1) General Scholarship Application: apply for auto-match scholarship opportunities below. These scholarships will be listed as “None” under the action column meaning no further action is required on your part.

  • STEPS:
    a) Sign In at the top right corner of this page
    b) Log In using your TCU Single Sign-On user name and password
    c) Complete the General Scholarship Application
    d) Complete the FAFSA or TASFA for consideration of need-based scholarships.

2) Apply for Additional Scholarships: apply for additional applications recommended by the system based upon the completion of the General Scholarship Application.

  • STEPS:
    a) Complete General Scholarship Application steps above
    b) Click “Apply” in the Action column below for additional applications recommended by the system
    c) Carefully read the scholarship eligibility requirements (e.g., major, gpa, enrollment requirement to receive the scholarship, other requirements as stated) and questions to determine your eligibility before completing the recommended scholarships.

After completing each of these steps, students can follow their application status on their dashboard by selecting “My Applications” above. All scholarships and grants are subject to conditions as stated in TCU’s Undergraduate Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy. This scholarship is contingent upon your meeting requirements set forth in the policy that can be found in the University catalog. Scholarships are typically one-time, non-renewable. Only students selected to receive a scholarship will receive notification. The notification letter will indicate if the scholarship is eligible for renewal.

Need-based scholarships require completion of the FAFSA (https://studentaid.gov) in order to determine eligibility. If you have not already completed the FAFSA or TASFA for the upcoming academic year, please do so now to avoid being excluded from the need-based opportunities. Students selected for verification process must submit all “Requested Information” in the portal in order for their General Scholarship Application to be considered complete.

Please Note: The Horned Frog Scholar Search platform is not an exhaustive resource of all TCU scholarships. Students should continue to apply for scholarships advertised by departments and campus organizations. If students have questions concerning the below opportunities, they should contact the Office of Scholarships and Student Financial Aid (finaid@tcu.edu).
